That's great planning. For the crates they have crate dividers so you can limit the space when they are little. Crates are expensive so buying once is best.

We have a rescue that was thought to be GSD. Embark says she’s 30% Malamute, 20% Huskie, 14% super mutt, 14% GSD and then Samoyed, Akita and Rottweiler. Shes only 32 pounds. Bottom line: the vet won’t know!

Just make sure with the crates- they need a smaller space while they are small. The larger the space, they will use the restroom in the extra space. Size appropriate crate helps potty train. The dividers should work for that!
