It’s the opposite for me. If I get them delivered/pick them up, I stay on plan. If I go into the store, I will pick up extra items that I may not need. I’m better if I order and pick up.

Nope, I spend less having them delivered. I don’t walk by things I don’t need and toss them in the cart. Our app shows sale prices, coupons available, and same prices as in store. I do pay a tip, but it’s worth my time to not go.

I personally spend more if I go in the store bc I see everything and stray from the list. If I do delivery I can see how much my total is as I’m adding in my cart and can make sure I stick to my budget. But I do miss seeing the mark down items in store lol

I ended up with a gift card for DoorDash.My app on my phone I used up the gift card. Man, did I learn the hard way?I will never do DoorDash again or any.Thing delivered to my door. Like you said, you go to the Store.If you have to get something, it might find something on clearance that you will not know.I am with you a hundred percent on That. Like\nYou said another situations with family that's different

I think it depends on the person. A lot of people save money meal planning. My grocery budget nearly doubles when I meal plan. I think different things work for different people. Your comparison point does make sense though.

I’m the opposite. I only grocery shop from Walmart. I refuse to pay the up charges and fees for Instacart. If I step foot into a store I’m out of control. For me, Walmart delivery has changed my grocery bill!

I think Walmart is the only one that honors their sale prices and the prices are the same as the store. The other stores mark up like crazy

I agree. There are valid reasons to pick up or deliver groceries. I for one don't like it. I find deals or new products when I'm in person but most importantly. I use grocery shopping as "MY QUIET TIME".

And absolutely having your groceries delivered there’s a cost for that service and a tip. And I do find the bargains where I switch a brand or there’s a buy one get one free in it. I’m sorry if it’s something I use like cat litter oh, I’m buying 12 of them.
