And some people need to realize you can’t sell and make a profit from every piece of junk you’ve been holding onto for years, and I think you secretly know that but you telling yourself “I’m selling it” is how you justify hoarding that junk

This is me right now. I’m on my biggest decluttering ever and my Vinted is filled with items listed at the fraction of the prices I bought them for and it is just heartbreaking. But I also don’t want to keep things I’m not using

I’ve started trying on clothes in store because I would buy not like how it looked and would never return. This has really helped me on my spending with clothes.

Yesss!!!! I use to be an impulsive shopper until I realized that they don’t even reflect who I’m becoming as I’m getting older. I’ve donated sooo many clothes and shoes to the Salvation Army, Goodwill, women’s shelters and even family in El Salvador

That’s so true. I say I’m too broke to go on nice vacations but then again I buy thousands of dollars worth of beauty products. Eventually I toss them or give them away!

I'm in this phase right now, letting go, selling and donating. it's heartbreaking recalling what I spent on it having never used it. but making peace with getting something back and re-investing into actual needs does help

Yes! I moved this year and once I was decluttering for my move it made me realize I was over consuming clothes , shoes bags I got rid of a lot of my stuff and now I don’t even like shopping as much
