It was 1971, she was a student and Nike had rebranded from Blue Ribbon and hired her to design the logo...the whole "Waffle Sole" thing for running shoes was going on. Then in 83 the company really boomed into and almost billion dollar company with the 1st Air Force 1s first worn by Patrick Ewing at Georgetown. From there the name grew even more.

Being able to say “I created the Nike logo” is a lifelong portfolio flex for a designer. Hope she held onto that stock because she earned where her work helped take the company.
