My cats’ cat tree in front of the biggest window in the house where birds hang out on the porch, it’s the center of the living room so they can see us and they love to hang out with us in here but in their own space (see the Great White Shark napping on a perch where she lives all day)

my cats trashed my sofa. I bought a new one and put sturdy, tall scratch posts right next to either side. I only needed to slightly correct them a couple of times and my new sofa is still intact

my cat LOVES to be near our window on the windowsill. We have a long big window and she loves to be there and look outside so we litteraly have a cat windowsill because almost everything of her is on that windowsill and she loves it! She uses everything on there ☺️

I bought a cat tree to be level with the window so my cat could look out but she still perches on the sill and won't use the tree 🥲

also cats (at least all 5 of mine) gravitate more towards rooms im in so it’s best to prioritize those rooms if your cats r similar! they have a bedroom full of trees/shelves but they only use them when i go into tht space

I used a vintage ladder and built a shelf for them to run up and it took me forever. They don't use it but at least it looks pretty so I put a plant on it instead 😂
