search up the earthbound breadcrumbs out of bounds warp glitch should explain everything you guys need about going out of bounds after the lake. no kris and noelle didnt die. there are 2 possibilities imo. they either went inside a dark world at the bottom if the lake or they reached the other side, succesfully going out of bounds. ch3 egg has a binocular that you can look into and it shows the EXACT same place as the eartbound breadcrumb out of bound glitch. and sans's bread that he gave you has the same description as the bread from earthbound (toby is also a big earthbound fan) (could also mean sans is tracking us where we go in the weird route) so they are probably out of bounds in there now. and that place has a connection to ch7's dark world so we can continue from ch7. friend also has some relations to the out of bounds area but i am NOT going into that.

sans gives us bread crumbs which relate to the glitch in mother 1 to skip parts of the game. we use those to glitch out of the game to skip the entirety of chapter 6 so yeah theyre not dead

This makes so much sense. It wouldn't make sense if they died as they are important. I also don't see why chapter 7 would happen if they're dead. I think we skip chapter 6 because at the end of the normal route, we'll end up wherever we're going in the Weird Route.
