Let’s be honest, power tipping was just an excuse to basically hold the ball and throw it wherever you wanted. Only a select few ppl actually did a power tip correctly. Everyone else was just abusing it since the refs didn’t call it out and honestly made the sport boring to watch. Great rule imo.

can we stop calling it a new rule? it was always there but most referees didn't consider it a carry for some reason (even tho some of those definitely are, without a doubt)
