The book isn't an anecdote, it's literally a historical textbook. Its painful to read if you're not genuinely interested. It's not colorful and descriptive, it's just informative.

If it makes you feel better the book is told in the pov of different accounts that are heavily BIASED towards both teams in a way. And referencing the photo you showed of Rheanyra, Aegon has a photo of him in a carriage
