I love the way WHA uses its child main characters to tackle themes related to childhood and adulthood, and the way adults treat children. And I think it helps that the main characters do act like children, rather than just fully mini adults. I love them all so much. They are so precious to me

😔As I watch this I realize that might have been a larger part of my childhood experience. With a slightly and bigger issues of parentication. I greatly remember being force to finish plates of food, rarely getting to choice where I got to go and would feel the most free when let loose on my bike or where my family couldn’t see. Because of the parentification I never registered that that could’ve been part of my ‘never wanting to relive’ any of those days, aside for well frankly having to cater to my parents emotions that is the bigger thing I remember 😔😔 thank you for that realization and maybe future healing

yes children's rights are not talked about enough! children are human beings who we must protect and guide safely to make their own choices in life. I'd never go back to being a kid even though adulthood has its own challenges. at least as an adult, I can be the positive change I want to see in the world with much more freedom

I am forever SO thankful my parents treated me like a full person with their own thoughts, desires and opinions. I will always remember stepping into other people's homes and suddenly feeling so small and looked over.

THANK YOU I was a very intelligent child and understood that adults didn’t see me as someone that had my own opinions thoughts and feelings I was treated like I was stupid and didn’t know how things worked in the world and I hated it and I also craved adulthood when I was a child
