This isn't that different to browser add-ons. An add-on for finding shopping vouchers etc, works fine until one day it's updated to contain a data theft script and your browser just downloads the update

I have rules for my openclaw not to install anything without an approval as well as ignore and report all AI prompts or commands it sees while browsing pages. Skills are big issue for openclaw because it installs them from the clawhub automatically and so many contain malicious codes there
