I feel this with WUWA. Don't get me wrong I love the game, but the only thing that makes me hold on and tolerate from forever quitting is the characters... I've also invested so much to leave, RC6 Cartethyia, RC3 Phrolova, RC0W1 for most characters. I feel so lazy and don't have the genuine motivation to even clear the events anymore, should I sell my account?

this point exactly I still personally enjoy genshin despite its flaws but ppl who complain yet still continue to play need to take a step back and see that they are addicted to the game there are better games out there i wont deny it but if genshin is no longer enjoyable to you, dont force yourself to stay as it only harms you in the long run

...this is the case for every Gacha Game It may seem more prominent in Genshin, but that's because it is the most popular/ well known Gacha Game. I find reducing this problem to Genshin/ Hoyoverse rather problematic because it gives the impression that the same can't be said for other Gacha Games.
