@tavelarocque: day 21 of the @higherupwellness speak your mind challenge. you are a tiny, finite blip of a life in a universe that is basically infinite. i used to think that was depressing. it turned out to be the most freeing thing i've ever realized. here's the flip. yes, your time is limited. you get one life and it ends. but inside that life, the possibilities are essentially infinite. infinite things you could learn, build, become, try. an infinite world, and a real shot at almost any of it. so look at the actual math. the downside of trying something and failing is small and recoverable, you end up roughly where you started. but the upside is pulled from a pool of infinite possibility. tiny risk, unlimited reward. you are a finite being with access to infinite chances. that's not a burden. it's the greatest gift any creature has ever been handed. so the only question that makes sense is, why would you not try? what are you saving yourself for? you have one wild, finite life in an infinite world. nothing to lose. a universe to gain. #hopecore #mindset #philosophy #motivation
