Instead of moving the couch over, maybe put a lamp there for mood lighting in the evening or an end table for drinks n such!

i think the stars should go on the shelf above the sink! and yes the flower book did look cute there in the corner! I think a lamp with maybe a potted plant could be so cute alongside the book! if you aren't wanting to do the book, I think the blue stargazing art piece would go great there with the darkness of tile.

Above the sink you could try a plant or two, a stack of cookbooks, a basket with extra kitchen towels/ Swedish dish cloths/ linen napkins, a few ceramics, a vase with flowers, a candle or incense, kitchen timer, a piece of artwork, or even a few smaller trinkets

I love the stars but I think it might look cleaner right above the sink against the white background of the wall. The fun colorful bowls belong on the shelves.

To start- I’d create a color palette for each room and go from there! Your living room already has a great one! use the pillow/artwork colors and find decor that gives off the same vibe. Doesn’t have to be the exact same colors - but similar muted pink/orange/green tones. So i wouldn’t do the bright red strawberries in the living room since it’s not the same color tones, but I think bright reds in the kitchen can pop nicely with the black. But picking a color palette for the rooms is the easiest first step!

You could get a book that matches the colors you’re going for and stack a journal and then put a little dish for your keys on it for the counter! Also string lights are super cute way to add whimsy and not feel too overwhelmed!

Love the lamp in the kitchen idea! I have thrifted antique “hurricane” lamps! They’re small and an interesting shape. Definitely look into those!

You could buy a couple of macrame hangers with a cute pot and sit the knitted strawberry vine and felt hanging flowers coming out of them. So they’re like a fake hanging floral situation? 🌸🩷

oooo I have thoughts! if possible, I say hang the stars in the windows! then they'll shine some colours in. Maybe thrift a cute or vintage cookbook you can have for the little stand, and maybe put it on the shelves over the sink? instead maybe put a cute little lamp in the corner to add light so you dont always have to use the big light! or, you can put the cookbook in the corner where you had the stand, and add some LED lights under the cabinets to add soft lighting. I am a big fan of fun drinkware, so some fun cups or glasses would be really cute! im a big fan of similar but mismatched colored glass ones that are thrifted :) if youre open to it, a trailing plant (like a pothos!) would also be nice on the shelf! you can totally go slow and thrift things that you enjoy - the cool thing about home style is things that you love will always come together to look nice!!

you could put the strawberry garland over the sink bc it’s quite kitchen-y and the pink ones somewhere in the living room space to match the pink blanket you have on the sofa!
