It’s waterproof up to 50 meters 30 minutes and the reason it broke from the pool is because of chlorine

The problem is Apple absolutely has options on the Apple Watch to track when you go swimming, and it’s great at that too. It tracks water temperature and everything. They should really improve on their water resistance or at least provide a watch that is actually water proof, like for swimmers like me.

I have the Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen and I have taken it swimming multiple times in a pool and in a river. So far, it still works.

I had an Apple Watch Series 7 and one day it just wouldn’t turn on. Showed the Apple logo for a minute then shut off. Took it to Apple and got told that the motherboard most likely died for no reason and I would have to buy a brand new one. There wasn’t any damage or anything I could’ve done

Just coz it’s water proof or water resistant doesn’t mean you should just be casually putting it in water on purpose … why would anyone actually keep it on while swimming ?
