as someone living in New York in an outer Borough, I had a pothole in my neighborhood that was genuinely a massive nuisance DAILY for me. When he launched the potholes-filled mini campaign a few months ago, I was hype but they didn't fill this one. I was *lightly* bummed (cannot overstate how little I was holding this against him) but unsurprised since I'm so used to politicians/political work doing things "at large" and it never specifically showing up in my immediate neighborhood. That pothole got filled last week, it's been years, and it's filled, and it's filled well, and my car doesn't get slammed anymore and I don't have to swerve anymore and it's filled in a way that feels like it's going to last and I was hooting and hollering in my damn car, thank you Mr. Mayor, I love my country (New York City !!!!!!!!!)
