My Honda crf450r does the exact thing it’s just your decompression lever there real loud on these 450s and your idle is low so it’s making it worse

It’s normal turn your idle up alittle and it will take it away alittle idle is low so it’s loader decompressor lever that’s all

Sounds like the auto decomp. (Possible worn spring) Haven’t worked on the newer Hondas so it may be normal.

cam chain tensioners are shit on those amd tge titanium valve coating wears so the valves sink deeper into the seat restricting flow and reducing compression

Could be your guides, lifters/rocker Arm, sometimes your injector can sound like it’s ticking fuh could even be an exhaust leak if you have one

the chain could look fine but not be fine. my trx450r timing chain looked fine until I compared to a new one its was hell stretched and the new one fixed the loud issue

Had a similar sound on a 2020 crf250r the bolt that hold the camshaft gear had back out and was rubbing inside the valve cover
