Kitten milk!! For now, kitten milk will work for a baby so young, but when he’s older, it’d be a good idea to identify breed for diet reasons. If baby had rabies, he’d be dead by now so don’t worry about that!

I would suggest to reach out to a bat rescue, even in another state. Wildlife need certain foods, temperatures, etc. I've rescued squirrels and didn't know what all they needed before I started contacting people who do it regularly. I know you are trying your best, but please reach out to make sure he's getting the proper care.

please contact a wildlife rehabber! they have resources to help both you and the bat, make sure you don't run into legal trouble, etc. it's the best way to make sure gerard gets what he needs to thrive his whole life. thanks so much for making sure our wildlife are protected ❤️
