@atma.moksha: 🪔✨ Deepa Jyoti Parabrahma ✨🪔 Before any prayer begins, the flame comes first. Most people do this without ever knowing why. 🙏 In Hindu tradition each part of the diya carries meaning. The oil is Lakshmi. The brightness of the flame is Saraswati. The heat is Durga. One small lamp - three goddesses present at once. 🪔 The oil symbolizes our own negative tendencies. The wick represents the ego. As the flame burns, both are slowly consumed, exhausted by the light of knowledge until even the ego dissolves. 🔥 Notice that the flame always burns upward. That is intentional. We are meant to seek knowledge that lifts us toward higher ideals, never downward, never smaller. ✨ The traditional shloka says it simply “I prostrate to this lamp, whose light is the Supreme Knowledge itself, which removes the darkness of ignorance, and by which all can be achieved in life.” 🙏 It is not just light. It is surrender. It is the burning away of what no longer serves you. 💛 Light one today. Even for a few minutes. Watch what it actually represents. 🪔 🪔 Deepa Jyoti Parabrahma 🪔 #Why#WhyWeLightDiyam #atmamoksha #fyp
