Let’s be so real tho bungie for all the good they make isn’t super consumer friendly, they just removed a ton of paid destiny 2 dlc and just never brought it back, they also lacked a lot of vision for what was coming next and how to sustain it. They screwed over their players in so many ways and not we are seeing those consiquenses sadly in people who prolly had nothing to do with those decisions. Dont blame Sony, dont blame the players blame the higher ups at bungie.

So let me get this straight. Sony keeps trying to do live service games, despite constant flops. They then stop development on their biggest live service game, Destiny 2, to put all their eggs in the Marathon basket, despite that being too niche to be a big success. They then follow that up by firing Bungie devs, thereby further lowering Marathon's chances at success. This company is fucking addicted to shooting themselves in the foot over and over.

As a long time Destiny fan. The Devs were some of the best, ambitious, creative people I’ve ever seen. The leadership and management were horrible and the reason the game fell off.

cant wait for the ex bungee devs to go and make their own destiny style indie game just like every other time a dev from a major studio get fired. all this does is push talent away from major studios and fuels the indie game scene or creates more competition cuz these devs could also just go create their own studio like the people behind expedition 33 did
