I’d put my kids in their little baby bath at the other end of the tub while I took a shower! I could always have my eye on them and they loved the warm water, so they stayed calm.

This!! I definitely didn’t realize the freedom I had before kids. My twin girls are a month old and with two newborns I barely get anything done. 😂😅 But all the newborn snuggles are worth it!

Im with you mama. Im almost 3 weeks PP and I envy my fiancé for being able to just get up and run his errands or go to work and socialize. I love motherhood but at the same time I’m grieving the girl I used to be.

I started showering with her some days helps my anxiety and helps me be clean! And ngl I don’t mind being with her I don’t want a break from her and I can bond my legs never get shaved tho:(

Since becoming a mom…that self care routine is so freakin hard 😅 super easy to keep my kids up but then I’m ready for bed after they go to sleep and just before for 2 hours🤣

the freedom part gets easier. when baby is old enough to walk and talk it's easy to leave them with family for a bit. and they grow sooooo fast ❤️enjoy the trenches !!
