There's many things you aren't taking into account: The humidity (usually 70-90%) makes it feel MUCH. hotter. We don't have ac, and we CANNOT afford to install proper ac units. We can barely afford to even turn the heating on in winter. Our buildings retain heat, there is NO escape from it. The air is moist and the breeze is hot, it makes it hard to breathe. We have to wear school uniforms or school pe kits, we don't get to wear the thin/revealing clothes we want to wear as a chance to bear with the temperature. And finally, we are not used to this weather, our summers are usually 20°, this isn't something we experience often, so it feels like HELL. Our infrastructure and countries are not built for it at all. The "simple fixes" you think we can afford to do are out of reach and it's time to stop being disrespecful about it.
