i been wondering if people do journal entries! i have been wanting to implement that a lot more and i felt like a fraud at the idea since its supposed to be a junk journal and not a diary 😭

also putting tape in the middle of ur pages before u put paper or anything else helps the journal to fall apart 😊

I use leather handmade journals that I collect on travels !! Been journaling since I was 14 (I’m ab to be 24) leather, handmade journals (w handmade paper + binding) has RARLEY failed me !!

I keep my junk journaling in with my diary as an all-in-one diary entry. Right now I’m using a the Leuchtturm and it works perfectly!

Glue the pages together and what I’ve liked to do to mine that helped was also adding washi tape in the binding to cover the open space and also add washi to the glued pages in between the pages

The spine broke on my tiny store journal too, tbh I haven’t seen one posted online that doesn’t have a broken spine… idk why this journal is marketed as a junk journal 🙄🙃

I haven’t been conscious about placement near the spine of my journal. Will definitely be more mindful! So far my Archer and Olive hard cover is holding up well

Gluing pages but also just weeding out a few bunches of pages helps SO much I know I’ve seen a tutorial somewhere about how to find the middle of the small sewn in binding to remove a few pages at a time. That plus gluing helps a lot
