This is around 34 minutes of footage that I have gathered up since starting this account. Not all of it is rare or anything and I haven’t included screen tests etc as they’re ever so easy to find, it’s just what I’ve still got in my camera roll. I’ve mainly done this in the hope it reaches people who want the footage without the hassle of finding it and also so people have a larger range of footage to use… there’s more than just the screen tests hehe- (And also if I decide to start my account again I have all my stuff in one place hahaha) Approximately- The rarer/ clips that people ask me about are mostly in the first 10 minutes, the first 20 mins are all black and white. Some good clips of Nico near the end of the 20 mins. Then it’s coloured footage for about another 10 minutes, and the final 5 minutes or so are overlays that I use related to NYC etc! Some of it is really high quality, some of it not so much.. some of it I have good quality footage somewhere but can’t find it ahaha. I haven’t fully checked it so there’s probably some duplicate clips in here. Found most footage from these photographers and filmmakers who were involved with TVU (other than Andy) - Adam Ritchie - Anton Perich - Piero Heliczer - Barbara Rubin - Jonas Mekas - Ronald Nameth - (Then obviously people like Gerard and Billy took photos too) And other than that it’s all documentaries, and trailers- there’s a fab one about Sterling on YouTube that has some brilliant footage that is included here. #thevelvetunderground #loureed #andywarhol #nico #newyorkcity
