Legally you don't own the films you have on disc either. You have purchased a licence to use the media on the disc. It is much harder for the distributor to revoke your licence if you have a physical copy though. #latestagecapitalism

Digital *should* be better. No production of plastic cases, no production of discs (better for the planet) no risk of your disc getting scratched/lost rendering the media unusable, theoretically an easy to access library across devices from any location. But with issues like these cropping up it's no wonder everyone is going back to physical. I know I am.

You don’t buy a digital movie, you buy a license to watch it for as long as the distributor allows you to watch it…. Instead of buying less physical media, I’ve started buying more in recent years. Just mental the way it’s going 😵

Rockstar can do whatever they want because they know their customer. They know full well that people will buy this game regardless if it has a disc or not. All the major publishers were waiting for one of them to set the trend. This release is the end of physical media if you like it or not.

The funny part about this is the people who have bought the digital media are the ones now complaining saying this is why you should buy physical well. if that's the case, why didn't you buy physical in the first place? 😂
