there's a deleted scene that was also shown in the international version of Superman 2 where police come and arrest Luther and I believe the Kryptonian villains that might be still alive

I always knew there were two cuts, and have seen both versions countless times over the years, but after watching these vids I'd love to see a super-cut of the best of both for the entire film 👌

I'm loving these comparison videos. it just fully illustrates a vision versus a job. Donner had a visual direction and quality standard that he wanted throughout. Lester lacked that slightly and was aiming for comedy.

id use a little of lester footage, like "would you care to step outside" and at the fotress when he picks up zod, upto luthor saying "he did it to them..."etc, the music in lesters version works better for that scene
