Let me be honest with you about something most network marketers are too afraid to say out loud. 👇 We get so excited about recruiting “big names” that we completely lose sight of one fundamental question — what can YOU actually offer that person beyond the opportunity itself? Think about it. There are people in this industry I would never even attempt to recruit. Not because the business isn’t incredible — but because where I currently am, I cannot match where they are. I cannot provide them with a winning environment. I cannot take them to a level they haven’t already reached or surpassed. And if I’m being real, the only thing I’d be giving them is a link and information. That’s it. Here’s what nobody talks about — when someone who is way above your level joins through you, they don’t succeed because of you. They succeed DESPITE the fact that you’re their upline. They use their own energy, their own network, their own discipline and will to make things work. You didn’t elevate them. You just happened to be the door they walked through. A real upline builds people. A real upline creates an environment where their team grows BECAUSE of the support, mentorship, systems and leadership being provided — not just because of the opportunity alone. So before you go chasing people way above your level, ask yourself this one honest question — what do I actually bring to the table that they cannot bring themselves? Build that first.
