Well see they could do that. But then you might not bring it to the dealership. Ya see chevy doesn’t give a single crap about what you wanna know. But they wanna know for sure that your ass is gonna take that hog back to the dealer and pay their premiums. Hope that helps 😉

you can get a 15 dollar code scanner from walmart and it will tell you exactly what the issue is also newer cars are just as easy to work on as a 20 year old car with the added benefit of no rust or dry rotted clips your car is under warranty so its not an issue anyway but if it wasn't you could get a new speed sensor for that car for 50 dollars online and it'd take less than an hour to replace it

(needlessly overcomplicated and designed to keep everyone hooked to the car subscription model, with trade ins every 60K miles).
It is possible to get a dirt cheap heavy duty vehicle and just keep it maintained (ie preventative maintenance to replace stuff before the typical mileage when it fails).

Andy Q. :
these newer cars can give you the reason why there's an engine light on it's just in codes that we can't understand and the dealership are usually the ones that have the dictionary for these codes. they don't want us fixing our own cars anymore
