I would recommend watching even just the first season of The Handmaids Tale if you haven’t - the first season covers the events in the book, the later seasons tell their own story. Since, in the book world, all that was released was The Handmaids Tale and The Testaments, theoretically you should be able to watch just the first season and have all the info you need (or would up the impact) before watching The Testaments! Just in case watching the whole show seems overwhelming to anyone!! 💙

I did this with Private Practice cause I couldn’t really get into Greys Anatomy. Granted I never finished Private Practice, mostly cause my sister told me I was watching it wrong but I enjoyed what I did watch.

i’m being honest, jumped right i to the legacies without knowing it was connected to the orginals or the vampire diaries. the fanfics of hosie confused the heck out of me in the beginning

I started watching the handmaids tale while the testaments was airing because I felt like I was missing important things, and you definitely need to see the both shows, if you didn’t watch the handmaids tale first you can watch it now, it will make you understand everything so much better and the next few season will definitely be more connected to June and mayday

Of the ones I actually know, I’m in 100% in agreement. I actually just finished the handmaid’s tale because I loved the testaments so much and if anyone is considering it don’t waste your time. Like handmaid’s tale is not worth it and if anything it just made me frustrated that the testaments episodes were shorter and there were fewer in the first season comparatively
