I remember using anything plastic like that would melt... before you would even get it off the floor. when I was a teenager we tried to use a milk jug one time and it disintegrated.

Good gas should be clear to faintly straw colored. Old oxidized gas is usually amber/muddy/dark. When it's cloudy AF w/separation like that it's often caused by the ethanol absorbing water or some kind of fuel contamination. Now, the ethanol absorbing that much water could either be b/c they're purposely watering it down, or the gas could have been sitting in a vented tank and the humidity in the air caused it to absorb way more moisture than it can hold. The gas that's remaining at the top loses its ethanol content and will drop in octane

I've never had issues with my car until now. I filled my tank up full. When I turned on my car it shuddered/idled super hard. The next day my check engine light came on and now I have parts i need to replace for my fuel tank. I thought ppl were just overreacting, there is SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE GAS.
