Mia, do you think you would have had the opportunities you’ve had the last 2 years (program at Oxford, getting a good education, traveling, etc.) if you hadn’t gone to an elite college? I didn’t apply to any elite colleges (just graduated high school) and didn’t get into any UCs, and got into USC for a film major but we didn’t have enough money. I am now going to a university as an applied math major and am doing everything i can to get into computer science, which is a limited enrollment program at the university and is in the top 20 universities in the US for computer science. Even though I got in, I still feel like I’ve wasted my life and opportunities I didn’t know i had. Do you think I could still have a successful life like you throughout my undergrad years and beyond?
