I never understood why people saw anything other than blue and black. It just looked like a blue and black dress picture taken in yellow lighting. Even looking at different screens in different light, I never saw white and gold.

So if my brain assumes which lighting it is that makes me see certain colours in the dress, is it possible to see both? Maybe not at the same time but if I look once and then again is it possible my brain makes a difference assumption about the lighting?

I saw both white and gold and then a minute later it was blue and black. All I did was get up to get a drink, came back and it was different
