@serenas__cucina: Six Hours. Seven simple ingredients. One sauce that’s been bringing our family together for generations. ❤️🇮🇹 My mum’s slow-simmered Italian sugo is proof that the simplest ingredients create the richest flavours. A huge thank you to @Giuseppe’s Gourmet Meats for the beautiful fresh meat, and to Nico from @Wood Fired Stove for keeping the charcoal at the perfect temperature throughout the long cook. Your care made all the difference. Recipe: Sorry Italian mums never measure 😂 ✨ Ingredients: • Diced Onion • Olive oil • Pork • Fresh bay leaves • Red wine •Tomato passata • Salt Everything is gently simmered for 5–7 hours until the sauce thickens, deepens in colour and develops an incredibly rich, robust flavour. While we cooked ours over charcoal, this recipe can be made just as beautifully at home on the stove over low heat. Food like this isn’t rushed. It’s shared around the table with the people you love. Save this recipe for your next family pasta night. 🍝 #ItalianFood #ItalianSugo #FamilyRecipe #PastaSauce #ItalianCooking
