We need to change the laws!! Go to change.org and sign the petition to make a change! Even after Draper was killed in June another similar accident happened on July 10th that killed Amanda Green & her 11 year old daughter Arabella Powell!! Now multiple families are grieving the losses of loved ones! These were all preventable tragedies & these drivers should be charged with felonies not just misdemeanors!!

I’ve known Sam ever since he was a baby he wouldn’t have done this to anyone . He was the type of person that would give a stranger the shirt off his back . Yes it was a tragic situation but one comment said that a truck ran Sam off the road and when Sam came back onto the road he couldn’t do anything but what happened I’m truly sorry for both families

It’s heartbreaking for both families. I didn’t know the deputy but have heard nothing but good about him, I’ve known Sam (David) 20 years and he’s the type of fella who would give you the shirt off his back and never purposely hurt anyone. He made a serious mistake and while he still has his life it’ll never be the same now.
