I worked for a company that threw an event with drink tickets and specifically told us not to tip because they were doing a big tip at the end of the event. found out through a friend that they in fact did not do a tip. I still feel bad and it's been years since that happened. now I bring cash to every work event so I can tip for my sodas.

If the clubs allowing sponsors to hand out beer and the use of drink tickets they should have told the guys to tip you heavily even if they just want a soda. Or the club should pay you a flat fee for the day since it’s a special event day.
