My partner and I met ten years ago at a hp themed event and we censored that section of our wedding website backstory to be a ‘general fandom event.’ Something something erasing it all from the narrative. It makes me so sad how everything’s gone but it feels so necessary to acknowledge and reject.

ads from the company. however, I will watch because that means that paid media ad spend is being wasted. when you see an ad from a company, they have paid money for their ads to be served to a particular demographic, the more specific the more it costs, so if the ads are showing up on my feed they are paying money to advertise to a person who will never buy their products and that is one small way I can get back at Joanne for using her wealth to take away my human rights. Ads on YouTube, specifically we'll also get charged per click-through so every time I click on one of their ads that's a little bit more of their money gone
