@forthefew_: Porn has become so normalized that questioning it often gets you labeled as the problem. Today, around 75% of men report watching porn in some form. It has become so common that many people assume it must be harmless. But common doesn’t automatically mean healthy. We are watching more men struggle with anxiety, shame, emotional disconnection, relationship issues, unrealistic expectations, and an inability to be fully present with the people they love. None of those things happen overnight. They happen gradually, until the behavior feels normal because everyone else is doing it too. The conversation isn’t about judging men. It’s about asking a better question. If something is affecting millions of relationships, shaping how young boys learn about sex, changing the reward system in the brain, and leaving so many people feeling stuck, maybe it’s time we stop calling it normal simply because it’s common. Normal isn’t always healthy.
