English isn't my first language, but I'm thinking of reading The Count of Monte Cristo. What do you think of it?

I loved Prince Myshkin but I honestly feel like Ippolit is so underrated. I think he’s such a contradiction of a character, believing that death / life is meaningless yet trying to seek the love and attention of other people in subtle ways in his final weeks. Even his “explanation” was so telling of what he truly feels. I think he holds those beliefs and accepted death just because it’s inevitable and his time is sooner than others, but I don’t believe he would’ve had the same feelings if he were given more time.

I recently got into Dostoevsky. I am currently reading Notes from the Underground. And my therapist suggested that I read The Brothers Karamazov, not now, he said I should read it maybe a year from now or after I've lived a little more. what do you think of The Brothers Karamazov? Also now I am definitely going to read The Idiot after I finished Notes from the Underground.

The ending is just sh** 🥀. Dude wrote the whole book in order to fund his gambling addiction, wherefore the book is chaotic; also there were just too much parts where analepsis was used
