so when you cut the third and get a seperate interlocking mobius then cut the other mobius in half does it make a seperate ring or get bigger?

I wanna see what happens if you take the strip of paper before making it a Möbius strip, draw an arrow on one side in one color and an arrow on the other side with a different color and then make it a Möbius strip.

the cutting is weird because cutting it 1/3 of the way off of the center when it goes around even if you don’t mean to you still flip the strip so apart of its going to come off, but since how it’s formed that part will still be attached. The other one is slightly hard to explain, but you’re essentially just doubling in size since the two parts are still connected to each other because once again you had to twist it which change how it performs when cut because part of that it stays connected even when you try to cut in half.
