@jeremystoomuch: 😳 @KAYRA🪐⚡️💕 🫶 The look on her face says it alllllll 😩 This should have never happened so I dont know who might need to hear this but consider this your official PSA: we are NEVER detangling dry hair babe!!! ☝️Curly hair is more fragile especially when its dry so if you need to detangle or get more volume, here is how you actually do it SAFELY: 💦 Get it damp first. Mist the hair with water or a liquid leave in before a comb even touches it. Moisture is mandatoryyyyyy!!!!!!! 🧩 Section it out. Work in small, manageable sections so you aren't fighting the hair. 🧴 Use a product with more slip if you need it. Coat the strands in a good detangling cream or conditioner so your tools can glide through easier. 🔝 Start from the bottom. Grab a wide tooth comb and gently work your way from the ends up to the roots. ⛏️ Pick the roots only. If you're using a metal pick for volume, just lift at the base. Don't pull it all the way through the ends or you'll cause instant breakage.
