Damn had no idea this was part of appeasement. I wonder what the German fans thought about England while watching the game. Crazy to think the biggest war on this planet would've happened soon after nazi saluting the Nazi anthem.

That is something not taught in history class. How so many countries appeased Nazi Germany before Hitler went too far and the Allies *had* to declare war. There were even Jews sent from Allied countries to containment camps, with the blessing of their countries government. No one’s hands are clean.
