I think Mizi couldn't react because in Zombie Stage she wasn't fully aware, but in Alien Stage she was completely aware of what was happening.

That’s why she is not really aware of what’s happening or does not react to some contact, cause she is a zombie. For example when Sua holds her hand she does not react stretching her hand back
