I read your comment explaining why he’s not allowed & I totally get it. In our house, we taught our almost 2 year old border collie that he’s only allowed on the couch when he hears a cue inviting him up. It really helps when there are guests over but we get to have him up when it’s just us at home. Not that you have to do this but just in case you ever want to let him on one day. It’s possible to train an invite-only basis with your fluffer x

Yall are overeating with the comments. Just bcz she doesn't let her dog on the couch does not mean she doesn't love him, dogs need to learn boundaries and well ig you guys are the one who doesn't respect her boundaries. She won't allow that dog on the couch and still love him, feed him, walk him and do a lot of things for him and yet she can still have boundaries.

you guys are assuming the dog doesn’t have his own perfectly suitable space! mine isn’t allowed on the couch however he has his own human-sized armchair with all of his toys and blankets. you can adore your dog and also have boundaries hahaa
