fanfic idea, Kris dates birdly for a year or two but then the soul wants to pull Susie instead so it starts to make Kris ignore birdly and focus on Susie, birdly is trying so desperately to get kris's attention back while watching them hang out more and more with Susie, going as far as cancelling dates just to hang out with Susie and birdly slowly begins to think Kris doesn't like him anymore, BUT Kris, after all that time with Birdly has realized that they actually DO like him(although not at first, they have begun to over time) despite his weird, cringe ways of expressing his love, Kris has started to like it and find it cute and decides to do that thing where they rip their soul out of their chest to talk with Birdly and quickly goes to him to talk with him. . Kris talks to Birdly about ignoring him and says that he really does love him, and they kiss. the next morning the soul is back inside of Kris and decides to make a move on Susie, confessing to her, in which she says that she's dating noelle, but still really likes Kris so she'll talk about it with Noelle, and they hug while birdly watches in the distance. . Susie talks with Noelle about having a poly relationship and they all date eachother. the soul doesn't even say goodbye to Birdly, they just stop talking to him altogether and Birdly thinks Kris was lying about loving him and becomes super depressed. . kris hates the soul for this, but is also guiltily really liking their new relationship with Susie and Noelle . I haven't seen deltarune in a while so please tell me if anything is too ooc🥹
