Not my idea, but I support V being Night City's own legend/superstition like "Some say V and a bunch of Nomads raided Arasaka Tower" and like "Nah, some say V raided Arasaka Tower solo" Just have him treated less like a person, and more of a made up propaganda merc from The Afterlife

My take is make Vincent and Valerie twins and have them both show up if they want v to appear. Easiest solution. Then they can just say that one of them dies before the start of 2077 but not say which
