in the UK, white Christians are very restrained within religion. Calling something demonic isn't something you see and it might even be enough for a mental health intervention here. I feel Americans don't quite get how bizarre this is because white people under 50 are mostly atheist or non-practicing.

Except she DID do wrong, people that dismiss that, really piss me off. She built a massive following, offered a service, became a guiding figure and a leader AND profited off of people who trusted her, only to betray all that and turn to such a religion. She failed to understand the responsibility she had, continued lying and profiting, without fully understanding her practice, herself or even having enough life experience as someone whose prefrontal cortex hasn't developed yet. She didn't do the work, the healing to be even in the position to be a spiritual leader, so of course it was easy to flip the switch while casually waltzing over her lying and hypocrisy. I never resonated with her energy and her "alt girl, though love, I know better" persona she presented but I'm still disgusted that she turned to such a hostile and opressive "religion".
