it's a proven fact us Mexicans hate to admit all of this ever happened we always come out with excuses saying that the conquest wasn't as bad that the Aztecs fought harder that Cortez was very frightening we always come out with something some sort of excuse it's pretty sad for us Mexicans who just don't want to admit history you accept the weekly sacrifices the Aztecs did but you don't want to accept the Spanish conquest

As a Mexican I feel like the Mexican government brought hatred into La conquista and the war with us to have something to blame on. The reason why Mexico is like this right now is not because La conquista and all the gold they stole or because all the land U.S “stole” is because of us. And now so many Mexicans hate Spanish people so much because of something it happened 500 years ago however they still speak Spanish and believe in the Christian god

Mejica was named after the Azteca nation in Tenochtitlán, they speak both indigenous languages and Spanish in what’s now called Mexico. Unless you are a güero Mexican there is 9X10 no Spanish in you and you are indigenous people. 😁I know because I actually went and I am part Mejica

Technically it’s true… Spain didn’t conquer all tribes… they didn’t have to. They only to defeat one. The Mexica. Or Aztecs… the Spanish had help from other tribes. The relationship were so good that when Spain went to other regions to conquer they brought indigenous peoples with them. Not at force, but voluntary. Some even made it to Spain and never came back. I would argue a lot of tribes assimilated voluntary, not out of fear but to be more powerful. They never wanted to deal with tribes like the mexica ever again.
