Agents? Yes. NPCs? No. I’m also disappointed with the agents they’re currently creating, especially with the flying city concept they have going on. No bird or flying thiren characters? no constructs designed to live in a flying city. And I’m really disappointed in the “thiren” agents.. most of them are just anime girls with animal ears. We need more thirens like pulchra, Ben, and Lyacon

Do be fair, don’t look at the artists doing the designs, look at the directors of the game. I feel like the directors have like completely forced the artists to flip and make them change them often 😭😭 when you look at concepts, they always looked better. It’s clearly the directors doing this, it’s not fair

The designs have gotten more mediocre over time but for characters I’m interested in like Cissia their personality usually makes up for the bad design so I pull anyway🤷♂️

The one thing that irks me is that the newer designs tell me nothing about the character 😭 no matter what personality the character has they dress the same, and nowadays you can’t even tell what faction the characters are from 💔 spook shack, krampus, seed, and the s3 characters show it best imo

Ramielle is a very easy skip for me. My account is strong enough that I can wait out until an actually interesting wind character drops. Unless they nerf literally all other elements and make wind anomaly mandatory.

the designs arent so unbelievably bad that it overtakes the rest of the game's enjoyment for me, for example im eagerly waiting for roxy and the storyteller. but yeah they are not as good as they couldve been. i pulled m0r1 cissia for her gameplay and personality, not looks. same for most characters unfortunately

Original designs showcased societal roles. Section 6 for example were among the best at this, all of them had white work shirts, name tags, and blue jackets because they were co-workers within a functional city, yet they all have distinctive silhouettes. Koleda, Anton and Ben all have the same white Jacket showcased in different ways, It’s even clear Grace should have it, but just doesn’t wear it. Sons of Calydon, same jackets, Victoria Housekeeping, etc. now characters are more individualized, even within factions, and that synergistic design is a bit lost. Yunkei kinda did it, but it was mostly just because they wore the same colors. Similar to Velina and Norma. New designs are not bad, they just don’t have that aspect of these characters just being part of a day-to-day lived in city. Which made it really unique.

Honestly the only designs that are bad are yixuan, yidhari, Lucia and now sunbringer. I think most of who’ve we’ve seen for season 3 look really promising Roxy and Claret in particular.
