As a 8 year umpire I’ve never told a kid to remove a sleeve unless it’s white yellow or multiple colors the rule is very clear in my opinion you struck out his son or nephew 😂🤣😂🤣😂

My son wears one to pitch when he knows he’s going back to back days. Never had anyone question it. As far as rules regarding colors - it’s black. If anything, it creates contrast to HELP the batter’s eye.
