Man what’s worse is the fact your parents can have an hour long conversation easy just criticizing you about your grades and overall lecturing, but struggle having just a 15 minute conversation being normal where they want to know how Im doing.

I think this is something every older brother/sister is going through or every only boy is going through especially if u are the only son in the family and the older amongst girls ur dad is always depending on u ur mother is always depending on u and ur younger sisters always needing someone to be there for them u dont know how to make ur time ur own like family expectations friends yk like I’ve understand and known so many things older then me ik how bad money is to the point i dont ask anything i literally go months without asking money or needing anything and ive been doing this from the age of 9 years whenever i talk with older people they assume im above 20 or sum when i tell them im still a minor they get shock and start to be sad like a lady told me once “ oh sweetheart what have u been through to know so much about these stuff what was ur childhood like im so sorry “ i still remember that even tho 90% of my childhood is blurry i wish i could’ve lived like a normal child i wish i wasnt so scared of wanting something i wish i wasnt always pressured aboht my future i wish i can live the moment now not thinking about my future how can i make this work how can i achieve what they wanted me to how can i do what i truly love how can i do such selfish things even tho my families life is depend on me im sacred of messing up im scared that i wont do it if i dont no one will im sacred lonely but there’s only one thing that i truly knew and truly understand. U can always do it trust urself and always put ur trust in god and everything gonna be okay

Lost both my parents at 13, moved in with family i hadn’t seen in years. Things always felt weird, like i wasn’t who they wanted me to be at every turn. I’m 18 now, moved out during my senior year and have a decent life so far. Its just weird because i feel like my parents should be here. Everyone else had them.
