my pastor just preached about this today. community is so important. allowing yourself to be vulnerable with someone and having someone to confide in that pushes you in your walk with Christ is SO important. learning that heavily this season of my life. 😭

its so hard when u know how important community is and yet you cant help but feel shame when you, for example, speak up or add a suggestion and its always only you getting ignored or not taken seriously, even if it was unintentional from them. So it rlly is easier to isolate sometimes 😭

Sometimes I hate talking/ hearing things about community. I fully understand how important it is but I can’t push myself into others life and they can’t push into mine. I pray and God send me a friend or help me somehow find that community I can grow in. Don’t know what else to do at this point.

Don’t be led by that feeling of loneliness, it once led me to be outside of his will looking for company. Let Christ love and presence be enough until he blesses you with community or a partner.

The biggest lessons you learn are with the time you spend by yourself. You teach yourself how to “weather the storm” so you can heal properly and feel comfortable being on your own to where loneliness doesn’t even become to be an issue anymore 🙏🏼💜

Girl, ain't that the truth 😩😂 I remember a day where I served people through their situations the whole day just to go home and realize I HAVE NO ONE TO DO THAT FOR ME YET 😭😭 I cried for a good hour and just prayed and God really came through with a hug. That's always the challenge, isn't it? Truly walking in faith even for others while you don't have the very thing you're preaching

That wave will pass in time and won’t feel as heavy. I get it, I’ve been there multiple times and now that I’m learning to just keep trusting God instead of dealing with loneliness on my own (like downloading dating apps, hanging out with friends that I know aren’t my real friends), life feels so much calmer. Let yourself feel those feelings. Cry if you need to. But it will ease up.
